Kevin, Jaime, & boys

My great friend Jaime, and her husband Kevin asked me to photograph their family last fall. The setting was special to them, as the mid-wife who delivered all 3 of their boys had her office there. The pictures really show what life is like with 3 boys. I had a great time taking the pictures of their family and I hope they're treasured memories for years to come.

I didn't choose photography, it chose me. When my first child was born, I didn't want to miss a moment of his life, for fear that someday, I'd forget. So I documented it on film. What I saw opened up a whole new world to me, and soon it crossed over from a hobby to a passion. I craved challenging myself to come up with new and creative ideas. I wanted to capture the essence of the person I was shooting. Not merely take a picture of their face, but a picture of their soul. My love for photography has continued to grow, and it's created a monster. I don't see things in an ordinary way, I see them through the lens of my camera. This is a documentation of my life through that lens. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoy capturing them.
