I grew up with Lindsay and Kelvin and also meet with them for church, so I was honored to take pictures of their family. It was bitterly cold, so we opted to do some shots of them in their environment and I love the way they turned out :) This is a true image of life with kids...I love it.
My brother and sister in law visited from out of state for the Thanksgiving holiday and we took the opportunity to photograph their family. These little girls are so sweet and adorable! You wouldn't know it was the end of November in Wisconsin.
I was honored to do a shoot for some awesome friends of ours, Stephen and Sarah. I had to run to keep up with their super cute kiddos...I love all their expressions :) Thanks for allowing me...;)
How adorable is she...? VERY.
I finally managed to get a smile...this little guys smiles only last a nano-second and then he's off exploring again. Look at those eyes...
The first time I met Aaron, he was 6 years old and wanted to sit on my lap all weekend...he's my husbands little brother. Hard to believe he's a senior in high school already, crazy how time flies.
Touch passion when it comes your way...It's rare enough as it is. Don't walk away when it calls you by name. ~ J. Michael Straczynski
I didn't choose photography, it chose me. When my first child was born, I didn't want to miss a moment of his life, for fear that someday, I'd forget. So I documented it on film. What I saw opened up a whole new world to me, and soon it crossed over from a hobby to a passion. I craved challenging myself to come up with new and creative ideas. I wanted to capture the essence of the person I was shooting. Not merely take a picture of their face, but a picture of their soul. My love for photography has continued to grow, and it's created a monster. I don't see things in an ordinary way, I see them through the lens of my camera. This is a documentation of my life through that lens. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoy capturing them. ~ Amber
