Carter

This is the second series of photos I shot for Mike and Sam. Their newborn son, Carter, was 4 days old. I had attended Carter's birth as Mike and Sam's doula, so this is one special little guy to me. I love all the little parts that go into a tiny baby. I also enjoyed observing the new family bond with Carter. He was so new and tiny and soft. They were so in love with him. I feel really lucky to have been welcomed during his birth, and in these first moments with their beautiful son.
