Alan & Jenni Engagement Session

This was the sweetest couple to shoot...they were so into each other and really cute to watch :) You could also see the passion...it was the perfect mix. I loved these jungle gym shots...I told them they might be totally corny or super cute. I'm so glad they were willing to humor me, because these are my favorite shots from the shoot, and really seemed to show off how fun these guys are!

The really awesome thing about our shoot this time, is that this is the merry-go-round Elizabeth and I played on together growing up. Just a few short weeks, and baby Chase will make his debut!

I didn't choose photography, it chose me. When my first child was born, I didn't want to miss a moment of his life, for fear that someday, I'd forget. So I documented it on film. What I saw opened up a whole new world to me, and soon it crossed over from a hobby to a passion. I craved challenging myself to come up with new and creative ideas. I wanted to capture the essence of the person I was shooting. Not merely take a picture of their face, but a picture of their soul. My love for photography has continued to grow, and it's created a monster. I don't see things in an ordinary way, I see them through the lens of my camera. This is a documentation of my life through that lens. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoy capturing them.
