Brookelyn gets aquainted with Archer

Meet my newborn son, Archer Cole. He is such a sweet little guy....I can hardly stop taking pictures of him ;) Expect the Motherload soon, I plan on doing a series with all the kids getting to know him. I love to get all the little parts that make up newborns...their hands and feet and the fine hair that covers their little body. They are so precious.

Brody

Brody is the Grandson of a very special friend of mine. He has the most gorgeous red hair and so many expressions! He loved being outside and I loved how his hair contrasted with the grass. He was a total blast to photograph.

I didn't choose photography, it chose me. When my first child was born, I didn't want to miss a moment of his life, for fear that someday, I'd forget. So I documented it on film. What I saw opened up a whole new world to me, and soon it crossed over from a hobby to a passion. I craved challenging myself to come up with new and creative ideas. I wanted to capture the essence of the person I was shooting. Not merely take a picture of their face, but a picture of their soul. My love for photography has continued to grow, and it's created a monster. I don't see things in an ordinary way, I see them through the lens of my camera. This is a documentation of my life through that lens. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoy capturing them.
